SACC is excited to announce the winner of thee Young Composer Submission!
The San Antonio Chamber Choir is presenting a concert called THE THIRST OF YOUTH. SACC will be presenting music by composers throughout the ages from the early Renaissance to the present that wrote these pieces under the age of 25.
SACC is excited to announce that Claudia Beroukhim is the winner of the SACC ‘s Young Composers contest. Beroukhim will have her composition, “i gained it so” performed at our opening concerts on Saturday, Sept. 30th and Sunday, Oct. 1st, 2023 by the San Antonio Chamber Choir and will be awarded a $1500 cash prize. Beroukhim is 21 years old and attends the University of Georgia where she is studying composition, theory and music business. There will be a $1,500 award presented at the fall concerts on Saturday, September, 30th, 2023 at 8 pm and Sunday, October 1st, at 3 pm.
Our runner-up is Kahan Taraporevala with his composition, “Youth.” Also receiving honorable mention by our panel of distinguished judges are:

SACC received 21 compositions from all over the country and are honored to bring new music to life.
